goldendoodle rescue dogs for adoption ohio

Just as the Golden Retriever is known for its friendly temperament and golden coat, the Poodle is known for its intelligence and its curls. There are three different size variants of the Poodle – the Standard Poodle, the Miniature Poodle, and the Toy Poodle – but the Standard Poodle the largest of the three is most commonly used in breeding Goldendoodles. The exact origins of the Poodle breed are up for debate, though it is commonly thought to have been developed in Germany as the Pudelhund. Though developed in Germany, the Poodle breed was standardized in France where it was widely used as a water retriever. In fact, the Poodle became the national breed in France before making its way across the European mainland and in to England. The modern Poodle is a medium sized breed, standing over 15 inches tall and weighing between 40 and 55 pounds at maturity. Standard Poodles have a trim, athletic build with a somewhat square frame and long legs. Poodles have dark, oval shaped eyes and an intelligent, alert expression. The Poodle’s muzzle is long and tapered with a dark nose while the ears are long, folding close to the head, and set at or below eye level. The most identifiable physical characteristic of the Poodle is its long, curly coat. Though it might look otherwise, the Poodle’s coat is a single not a double coat, but it is very dense.

We asked Shawna Abrams, President of Party Animal Pet Food, why they used coconut oil in their canned Cocolicious line of dog foods. “Coconut oil is a mild flavored and extremely stable oil that has an array of health benefits for pets and humans alike,” says Shawna. “We began using the oil in our products because we feel that pets should be benefiting from this magnificent oil as much as humans are. Coconut oil contains lauric acid, one of those good fats we are always in search of. Additionally the oil does not break down in heat or light and also has anti bacterial and anti fungal properties. ”I have been giving my four Coconut oil for almost a year now.

TGR provides Goldendoodle Breeders access to these records so they can make breeding decisions based on accurate and complete pedigrees, maintaining the integrity of the Goldendoodle genealogy. TGR also provides breeders with access to diverse breeding stock so that the Goldendoodle breed can avoid genetic weaknesses that can be created when the gene pool is limited which occurred unintentionally in many previously developed breeds. When you register your Goldendoodle puppy, you will receive a Goldendoodle Registry pedigree certificate showing up to three generations depending on the number of generations your puppy’s breeder submitted. By registering your puppy with TGR, you help to document the development of the Goldendoodle breed for future generations to come. In addition, the certificate provides documentation of ownership should your dog ever be lost or stolen. Registering litters is vital to assure accurate records of Goldendoodle genealogy.
