I guess out of a sense of self preservation, Mambo quit prancing and started paying attention. My Mom I suppose fortunately, if she is to fall, most frequently falls backward, and these days Mambo watches for that and uses her shoulder or side, to stop the fall before a fall to the ground is inevitable. Mambo returned to Class at about a year and a half. She was taught the 'normal' Therapy Dog things, such as be gentle, allow yourself to be stroked, don't bark unless requested to do so, and so on. All her classes were at Petco. Once she had mastered the basic stuff, the Therapy Dog trainer asked if since Mambo was a very large dog, as far as Therapy dogs go the average weight is about 5 pounds could Mambo be trained in special things like assisting those in wheelchairs and walkers.

They are sporting, hunting, flushing and water loving animals that are smart, loyal and easily trained and enjoy exercise, attention, socialization and family interaction. Doodles do not like to be left alone for long periods. They are a versatile breed that tends to adapt to the type of family they live with. Our Goldendoodle puppies are happily living with families that have very active “on the go” tempos, as well as those that are content with a romp in the back yard and more sedentary lifestyle. as that would be impossible! However the puppies coat types do range between the looser, wavy coats up to the more curly coats and some puppies will be indistinguishable from F1 puppies in looks. Depending on their coat type see Generations Explained Goldendoodles generally require fair to high coat maintenance. The majority of Goldendoodles will require professional coat care at least at some point in their lives, some need only very occasional clipping whilst others need more regular visits to the groomers, but what tends to happen is that the dogs that shed the least require the greatest amount of attention to their coats in order to prevent mats from forming. This is because all ‘non shedding’ dogs do actually moult but the dead coat stays on the dog and so needs to be groomed out otherwise it will form mats. The most difficult time to maintain the coat tends to be when the puppy coat is being shed at around 8 months of age and this is often the time that people will decide that a trip to the groomer is in order. Here at Kizzabella we have concentrated on breeding F1 and F1b puppies. We find that these 2 generation produce the most consistant coat and personality types which can become very unpredictable in further generations. We are forever hearing from people who have Goldendoodles with poor coats and temperaments as they were bred from different generations and were not informed by their breeder as to how the puppies would mature. IT CANNOT BE EMPASISED ENOUGH THAT SEEING THE PARENTS OF A LITTER DOES NOT GIVE ANY INDICATION WHATSOEVER AS TO COAT TYPE IN THE PUPPIES. 2 BEAUTIFUL ADULT DOGS CAN PRODUCE COMPLETELY SMOOTH COATED PUPPIES AS WELL AS NONTYPICAL DOODLE TEMPERAMENTS, THIS IS VERY COMMON!By Karin Brulliard By Karin Brulliard Email the author December 6, 2016 Email the author Follow @karinbrulliard Meet Patton, a 9 week old Goldendoodle who may or may not become the next presidential pet.
